Negratin Chile signed a new agreement for 25 Mw of photovoltaic power in Chile


  • The works in this power station, located in Maria Elena in the province of Tocopilla (Chile), will be developed on behalf of American company Sun Edison.
  • The photovoltaic power station will have a total power of 72 Mw.

Granada, on 9th June 2014

Negratin Chile signed a new agreement to install 25 Mw in the electrical system of the Crucero power station which has a total power of 72 Mw. This is a project to be developed by Sun Edison in Maria Elena, Chile.

With this agreement, Negratin Chile is consolidating its business in Chile, having only started to develop our activities in this country two years ago.

Negratin Chile is focusing on this country because it really believes in the growth potential existing in the various technologies for clean energy.

The company is also helping in the technical studies for several international companies and has become involved in tenders put out by various major photovoltaic power stations which are currently at their final stage of designation.

With this new deal closed with the American multinational company, Negratin Chile is becoming closer to its target for this year, which is the consolidation in the country, now a fact.

Additionally to these projects, the company intends to diversify and transfer its expertise in other technological projects and the industrial sector to Chile in order to add more value to its presence in the region.
