Granada 21 of May of 2.015
Negratín has signed a contract to construct the HVAC installations of the Biodome, Science Park. The project in this emblematic installation is located in the Granada Science Park (Spain).
The installation that corresponds to the Biodome, Science Park, consists of 608,000 W of HVAC, which will recreate the environmental conditions of the different tropical forests around the world.
This new installation, which will open in summer 2016, recreates different natural habitats in the planet’s lushest and most diverse tropical zones and “evergreen” forests and rainforests: the Amazon jungle, Madagascar, and the Indo-Pacific.
The collection of animals and plants that it houses, more than 200 species in total, provides a representative sample of the indigenous ecosystems of tropical rainforests, coral reefs and mangroves of Borneo.
Some of the most representative species that will be able to be observed include crocodiles, Asian otters, leopard sharks, rays, deer mice, dwarf kangaroo, lemurs, Komodo dragons, parrots, flying foxes and forest bird species, among others.
This new contract consolidates Negratín’s experience in this type of project.
