A new contract in Latin America (Chile) consolidates Negratín’s position as a local reference in the construction and installation of photovoltaic power, providing continuity to our presence in this country which began more than four years ago.

The new solar plant, located in Uribe, 25 Km to the northeast of Antofagasta, Chile, is being executed by Ortiz Construcciones y Proyectos S.A, Agencia Chile. The photovoltaic plant has a total capacity of 57.63 Mwp and the work consists of medium and low voltage, connection of photovoltaic modules, installation and connection of combiner boxes, cable trays, cabling and connection of motors and power supply, earthing network and testing. The scope of the contract also includes the execution of more than 27,000 metres of trenches for the LV and MV network, as well as the installation of inspection boxes.
