Grupo Negrat\u00edn will invest \u20ac59 million this year to bring six photovoltaic projects into operation in Colombia, a market where it is set to become the company with the highest number of megawatts built.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company was founded in 1998 by brothers \u00c1ngel and Celedonio Noguera in Pozo Alc\u00f3n (Ja\u00e9n). It began as a subcontractor for electrical installations but later moved into the construction and operation of energy projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The group, which has already delivered 4.56 gigawatts of renewable energy plants across around ten countries, forecasts sales of more than \u20ac220 million for 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Negrat\u00edn aims to expand into new markets and strengthen its portfolio of owned photovoltaic and wind assets. To drive this strategy, the company has welcomed investment funds TiLT Capital Partners and Swen Capital Partners, which have acquired 38% of the firm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe needed capital to reinforce our investment plan through 2030,\u201d Celedonio Noguera, Vice President of Negrat\u00edn, told ABC<\/strong>. The group has also created NGS<\/strong>, an investment arm focused on acquiring late\u2011stage development projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The first portfolio it will activate is in Colombia, a country where Negrat\u00edn has been operating as an independent power producer (IPP) since 2022. \u201cThese are owned assets.
